The Venue

Estadio da Luz

The home ground of the famous Portuguese football team Benfica, this multi-purpose 64,642-capacity sports stadium was designed by Damon Lavelle and is situated on the outskirts of Lisbon. There are also 2 pavilions and a swimming pool in the sports complex, a 3-floor health club and a museum showcasing Benfica’s proud history and trophy cabinet. Visitors can enjoy the views from the panoramic restaurant or try the many restaurants and shops in the adjacent shopping centre.
