Running late and didn't know about special gulten free person

The afternoon tea was ok. Butler was very good and Franklin did an amazing job with a small group of us. The hotel was extremely disorganised. We arrived on time and they said nothing was ready and we had to wait 45 minutes until we could go in. Once we got there we realised we didn’t have a celiac option which we showed the venue was already booked in. They said they weren’t told this. One of my group therefore was not able to join in with us. Whether this was lack of communication from your end of the hotels, this was a complete disappointment to us

We had a great time, the butler was running a little late but telephoned our organiser and apologised in advance and kept us updated about his arrival. Once he arrived he made the afternoon so much fun with his games and just general personality. The food was good and there was plenty but we had let chilli sauce know that one of our party had a gluten intolerance and needed a gluten free afternoon tea but on arrival we were told this hadn’t been passed on to the hotel but they were quick to deal with this and after about 20 mins bought in suitable sandwiches and cake.

Was so fun and full of laughter! We had no idea what to expect but we left loving it. Frankie was so fun and lovely! It was running late slightly but we were made aware before hand, however we had to wait in reception which we would have preferred to wait in the room. We did have an issue with the food, we notified we had someone who was celiac, which when we got there the holiday inn had no notification on this. We were worried my friend would end up not having anything but the holiday inn accommodated him!
