The location of the hotel was great and within a short walking distance of the bars and shops. It was clean with friendly helpful staff and there was a wide variety of choice for breakfast.

Great however I did find false eyelash on the floor along with a few stains which looks lik makeup or coffee

Hotel ideally located. Not the cleanest of rooms, lots of dust around kettle area. Glasses dirty as well. Not enough ordinary coffee or milk supplied for two people staying two nights. Breakfast staff very abrupt with regards to having not booked a breakfast time on the Saturday morning, despite not being asked to. Sunday morning there appeared to be no issue, again we hadn’t booked a time.

Excellent accommodation- felt unfair due to two of us having a room not to share, I paid an extra £68 and the other paid no extra.

The accommodation at the Clayton hotel was brilliant and just what my girls needed, breakfast was also great with plenty of choice and variety. Unfortunately I have to however only give 4 stars as I feel that the security bond of £500 for 5 rooms was ridiculous but also only to be notified of this 3 weeks before the event really put a strain on our budgets.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were nice, clean and tidy, although the rooms were really warm so it was hard to sleep. The hotel was in a perfect location, everything was within walking distance. Breakfast was good. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and will defiantly stay again.
