Whilst small room was basic, the hostel was excellent. Very clean and staff were helpful.

Although some of the groups rooms were hot I found the room nice and cool, clean and spacious. Much more than I expected. Bar and food lovely too.

Loved the accommodation. Breakfast was great- only bad point is how long the pizzas took to come out on the day we arrived was very slow and with there being so many of us. Apart from that we loved it and would definitely stay here again.

A hostel conjures up images of a downtrodden dirty free living kind of place. The Generator is nothing like that. It's funky, hip and fresh. We stayed in a basic 6 bed (bunk beds)with ensuite bathroom. The beds were surprisingly comfortable and it was fun learning how to climb in and out of a top bunk. How I did that when I was little I didn't know. If you are a bunch of girls staying leave time for everyone to get ready there is only one toilet and one shower between you all. Room and bathroom were really clean but you had to make your own bed. Staff were very friendly and superhelpful. We had breakfast with our stay i think you get a cooked breakfast with your stay but we got confused and ended up in a communal area eating rice krispies. Be warned there is no alcohol allowed in your rooms. Would defy one back and try one of the more plush rooms.
