Highland games were great, wasn't what we expected, expected there to be other groups for competition etc but the owners were great and we all had a ball.
Try your hand at this most Scottish of sporting events, the Highland Games, as you compete for points in a variety of unique games. Have a go at tossing the caber, throwing a sheaf (a bundle of hay in a bag) over a pitchfork, haggis rollings, welly hurling and the old classic tug o' war.
Situated 30 minutes from Edinburgh city centre and a ten-minute drive from Edinburgh Airport, this is a fun-filled activity centre providing a memorable day out. Home to a 4 x 4 track, clay shooting ground, archery range and extensive quad trails, the unique venue provides guests with everything they need to kick-start their adventures including car parking, on-site refreshments, male/female changing rooms, portaloos and picnic tables.
