More UK options

A Budapest stag do to the party capital of the East is becoming easier than ever. Budapest, home to a vibrant nightlife, unbeatable thermal baths, and the incredible ruin bars, is introducing more non-stop UK flights from 29th October 2018.

Seven new flight paths will be in place at Budapest Airport by Spring 2019. The first of these will link the Hungarian capital via Wizz Air to Doncaster, Sheffield from late October. From November, you’ll be able to jump straight from London Southend and Manchester via easyJet, and from mid-February, the buzzing “Heart of Europe” will have a direct link to London City Airport with LOT Polish Airlines.

The plan for its path to LCY will have flights leaving London every weekday at 7:30pm, reaching Budapest at 11pm, just in time for last call. They’ll come back every weekday morning at 7am, touching down in London at 8:45, meaning real troopers can even make it to work on time the same day.

These flight expansions are all part of Budapest growing as a global tourist and cultural hotspot. At Chillisauce, we’ve been banging on about how great the Hungarian city is for what seems like years now. It’s nice to see the airlines are finally listening.
