This jam-making class busts the myth that jams are tricky to make. Once you have mastered the simple tricks, you will be able to use all manner of fruits and vegetables to make your own preserves. Jams, pickles and marmalades are a great way to use up leftover fruit and vegetables, reducing your food waste.
WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY
We’ll post out kits in advance of the e-event containing the specialised ingredients, printed recipe pack and paper chef hats. On the day, guests will create three delicious jams. Our professional chef will take guests on a step by step guide on how to create the best jam. We'll start with a tutorial on correctly sterilising your jars, safely filling them and of course, the preserving part - sealing them correctly.
