There’s no getting away from holiday in Lloret de Mar, it’s what it does best. Bits of the town itself are pretty and still quite quaint, with narrow little streets and traditional buildings. But the main look is ‘everyone-back-to-ours’ apartment blocks, all-you-can-eat buffets and more bars than you can shake an empty at. And then there are the beaches. Big and beautiful, small and secluded, somewhere in between, Lloret de Mar’s sand and sea is well-kept, very clean and definitely the big-ticket round these parts.
