Room 106 tells the story of how our unique whiskey blend 106 came to fruition. Experience a curated tasting where we take you on a journey from distilling through to maturation and finally blending, showcasing the variance in whiskey styles. Once we have introduced you to the art of blending, you will get a chance to create your own blend and build the perfect Whiskey Old Fashioned.

Nestled in a quiet glen, where time slows down and patience pays off, your stag group will experience whisky-making the Glengoyne way – a process that takes three times longer than most. Led by Glengoyne’s expert Distillery Ambassadors, the lads will embark on an unhurried journey through the heart of the distillery, following the spirit’s path from the mashtun and washbacks to the elegant swan-necks of the copper pot stills.

Inside the legendary No.1 Warehouse, they’ll uncover the secrets of how wood transforms whisky, deepening its colour and intensifying its flavour over the years. Then, it’s time for the best part – the tasting.

Kicking back in the comfort of Burnfoot Lodge, with views over the glen and its stunning waterfall, the group will savour two Glengoyne Highland Single Malt whiskies. A moment to raise a glass, soak in the surroundings, and toast to an unforgettable stag adventure.

Put your creativity to the test in this unique activity. Enter the delicious world of distilling and make your very own bottle of 70cl gin. Your event begins with a lesson from the experts. You’ll learn about the history of botanicals as well as professional distilling techniques before creating, mixing and measuring your own tipple choosing from more than 40 aromatic botanicals. A guided tour of the lab is also included.

With Moonshiners' Gin Academies, you get to play distiller for the day and make your very own batch of gin. Over the course of a few hours, you’ll learn all about spirit making in a hands-on, relaxed environment.

You’ll pick your gin botanicals from our wide selection based on your personal taste preferences, then run your own distillation on an individual mini still, collecting the very best parts of the batch to take away with you.

It’s not all hard work, though - there are drinks throughout the experience, made using our own versions of the spirit you’ll be creating on the day. And if you fancy carrying on afterwards, there’s also an onsite bar for a few extra drinks.

With Moonshiners' Spiced Rum Academies, you get to play distiller for the day and make your very own batch of spiced rum tailored to your tastes. Over the course of a few hours, you’ll learn all about spirit making in a fun, hands-on way.
