This is a review for the venue, and not for chillisauce. I can’t give more than one star for this. I have several severe food allergies, which were made aware to chillisauce, and I told one of our servers when I got to the venue. Despite this, I was given the wrong food on the night. I double checked when the food was brought out and I was assured it was my plate. Turns out it was for someone else at our table with a gluten allergy. I am allergic to dairy, eggs, nuts and peanuts. I started eating the chips, and then when my actual food was brought I realised I’d been given the gluten free person’s dinner. Thankfully I did not start eating the burger as I think this had dairy in. I am deeply disappointed by this service- had I continued eating the food that I was assured was mine I would have ended up in accident and emergency. Servers should describe the allergens in each dish they bring out for people who have allergies. Please ensure better allergy training is conducted.
