Not as luxurious as I was expecting from a 4* hotel. Staff were lovely, room on arrival was clean but we had no maid service during the stay so had to keep asking for more toilet roll, coffee making items etc. Key fob kept locking us out of our room too.

Location was further than we had thought and had to taxi everywhere. We were located on first floor which was clearly reserved for hen/stag parties. Both nights awoken by groups returning home and banging on doors and shouting. A couple of our rooms had broken flushes and we were told that no maintenance available at weekends. Bed sheets were dirty and had to request they were changed. Rooms generally tired and run down. Breakfast was good!

No mattress or pillow protector, flush didn’t work all weekend and apparently the was no maintenance guy over weekend to fix the problem. A little bit far out from the town so we had to get taxis to all our activities. The floor we were on I think was all hen and stag parties so there were a few knock out gingers on the doors throughout the night. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly enough at the bar.
