De School

This notorious club is open 7 days a week, so you can enjoy their club nights on every night of the week. The venue used to be an old school and the 700 capacity nightclub is located in the school's former bicycle shed area. The building also has a restaurant, bar, exhibition space, concert venue and gym within the grounds - it’s a real cultural complex with a 24-hour license so that you can eat, dance and drink all day and all night.

Claire

Set in the heart of Amsterdam on Rembrandt square, this enormous club opened its doors in 2015 and replaced the infamous Studio 80 club. The venue has two large rooms which play host to the hottest up-and-coming DJs, with a particular focus on deep house music. Open Thursday, Friday and Saturday each week, the nightclub has a relaxed atmosphere and open minded staff so you and your mates shouldn’t have any issues getting in.

Sugar Factory

As the name suggests, this venue is housed in an old sugar factory and it has quickly become a favourite on the Amsterdam nightclub scene. The club is intimate in size, has moderately priced drinks and a varied programme every day of the week, making it a great spot for big groups.Try and visit on Techno Tuesday - it's the perfect place for a midweek night out.

This enormous nightclub can hold more than 1,300 people while maintaining a fun and intimate atmosphere in each of its rooms. The club uses a nifty chip card system which can be topped up to speed up service time when buying drinks. It’s also perfect for groups who don’t want to argue about whose round it is next. But be warned, you can't get your unused credit back if you don’t use it!

Located right next to Dam square in the red light district, this lounge club is open seven nights a week, so you can have a dance no matter what day of the week it is. With sophisticated red velvet interiors, the club has a luxury appeal which has attracted many A-list celebrities such as Mick Jagger and Naomi Campbell. There's even a smoking room in the club for the smokers of the group.

Escape Nightclub

Located in the city centre on the lively Rembrandtplein, Escape is one of Amsterdam's largest and most popular nightclubs. Open since 1986, the multi-room space has lounge bars, VIP stages, balconies and dancefloors pulsating with light and visuals all under one big cavernous roof. Make sure you dress well for Escape, they take the dress code more seriously than most other Amsterdam clubs.
