The Mitre

What The Mitre lacks in size (it has been ‘officially acknowledged’ as Blackpool’s smallest pub) it more than makes up for in personality, atmosphere and its warm welcome. Encapsulating the party atmosphere that this seaside town exudes, expect Northern Soul DJ nights, piping hot home-cooked food, singalongs over the microphone and darn good beer. It’s a traditional boozer that has been serving up pints for more than 100 years, and it’s a place where people return to again and again.

#closed#Reflex - Blackpool

DJs pump out favourite tunes from the '70s onwards in this stylish retro venue. Located right on the famous Promenade and just yards from Blackpool Tower, its Victorian exterior gives way to a modern, colourful interior that's retro-themed and decorated in bright colours, with a large dancefloor. There's also an upstairs restaurant.

The Merrie England Bar

Merrie by name, merry by nature – this is one bar where its reputation most definitely goes before it. A bona fide Blackpool institution, The Merrie England Bar embraces its town’s reputation as a traditional entertainment hotspot. Expect bawdy seaside comedy from the infamous resident entertainer Joey Blower, friendly crowds, live music, cabaret shows, family friendly (and some not-so-family-friendly) shows and party-starting DJs in the evenings.
