Overview
For something truly unique to Madrid, you must visit the oldest restaurant in the World. This restaurant dates back to 1725 and was even written about in Hemingway's book: "The Sun Also Rises" as it was his favourite restaurant. It is also said that the famous painter Goya used to work there as a dishwasher. The restaurant is renowned for its Suckling Pig and Roast Lamb which are cooked in a wood oven. This is a great evening out and there are not many people that can say they have eaten in the World's oldest restaurant!
