Overview

This Grand Prix style showdown recreates the excitement of professional racing, as you progress through the qualifiers, heats and a grand final. Get kitted out and warm up with a few practice laps. Then it’s on to the qualifying heats where you’ll be racing against your rivals and the clock. The times decide your starting position for the qualifying rounds, with the fastest drivers making it to the grand final for the chance to take the title.

Useful Info: You will need to wear a balaclava under your helmet whilst racing; If your group is late arriving you will either lose karting time or your event will be cancelled with no refund; The minimum group size varies from 8-16 people dependent on the venue; Different types of karts are used in Cardiff, London Docklands and Leeds; Alcohol consumption prior to your session is prohibited; No cash payments at the venue

Long track but really difficult to overtake anywhere meaning you were just trailing people for long stretches. Confusion over start time meant we almost forfeited our session. Still a good laugh though.

Karting was great, service was top notch. The only mix up was that we were told to arrive at 12pm and they had us down to arrive at 11.15am? Wasn't too much hassle though.

I didn't do this but everyone looked like they were having fun
