I’m honestly in love with Edinburgh! So much so that I’m planning my next trip to come over soon! The history and character behind it is what has captured my heart. Felt that I was in a walking Harry Potter movie ! Absolutely beautiful!!!!

Love Edinburgh but taxi are a bit of a problem if you don’t book early you just don’t get one or you have to wait hours

Fabulous city - just a shame all the roads are dug up which makes getting about a nightmare!

Great destination

Edinburgh is usually lovely but going though A LOT of general works, road works, building works etc just now and sadly it does impact a little bit on the overall look and feel of the place. It's a great city though with fabulous history and loads to do. I'd always recommend venturing away from the main tourist destinations and venturing off the beaten track, find some curious side streets and find 'the locals' Edinburgh which is far more rewarding.

Edinburgh has something for everyone. It's a beautiful, diverse city, and was the perfect destination for our fantastic weekend away.
