Really nice place to stay, clean, the breakfast was limited but defo nice quality. Would have prefered single beds for a hen do rather than a double.

Friendly staff always smiling, fantastic hotel with a hot drinks machine in the reception that was free all day, and provided great coffee and hot chocolate. Rooms were amazing for the price. Only down side was the pull out sofa bed was filthy so I didn't use it, I did ask to get it cleaned so I could use it on my 2nd night, but it didn't after saying they had sent someone up. Would definetly stay again though and just double check the sofa bed.

Hotel was lovely, but a road closure made 5 minute journey into York about 45 minutes. We should have been informed about this by either the hotel or chillisauce. It messed up all our timings, had we had known prior to arrival, we could have changed our plans.

The place was lovely. Such a shame the road to York is closed meaning there is a 1 and a half mile walking diversion
