Gin Academy

With Moonshiners' Spiced Rum Academies, you get to play distiller for the day and make your very own batch of spiced rum tailored to your tastes. Over the course of a few hours, you’ll learn all about spirit making in a fun, hands-on way.

You’ll pick your rum’s spices and botanicals from our wide selection based on your personal taste preferences, then run your own distillation on an individual mini still, collecting the very best parts of the batch to take away with you.

It’s not all hard work, though - there are drinks throughout the experience, made using our own versions of the spirit you’ll be creating on the day. Plus, we’ve got an on-site bar if you fancy carrying on afterwards.

Put your creativity to the test in this unique activity. Enter the delicious world of distilling and make your very own bottle of 70cl gin. Your event begins with a lesson from the experts. You’ll learn about the history of botanicals as well as professional distilling techniques before creating, mixing and measuring your own tipple choosing from more than 40 aromatic botanicals. A guided tour of the lab is also included.

Discover the art of blending with a whiskey tasting in ‘Room 106’,where the secrets of our unique signature Roe & Co blend are revealed. Room 106 tells the story of how our unique whiskey blend 106 came to fruition. Experience a curated tasting where we take you on a journey from distilling through to maturation and finally blending, showcasing the variance in whiskey styles. Once we have introduced you to the art of blending, you will get a chance to create your own blend and build the perfect Whiskey Old Fashioned.
