Nice as hostels go. Good rooms and friendly staff. Just needed to do a cooked breakfast and it would have scored higher.

I have to say, I was very dubious about staying in a Hostel in my 30's and it wouldn't have been my first choice. HOWEVER, when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and airy the whole place was including the reception, dining hall/bar and room. The room I stayed had 3 bunks (6 beds total) and a table and chairs and plenty of spare space for bags or to swing a cat which is in contrary to other Hostels I have stayed in a number of years ago. Breakfast was a continental style, but it was tasty with a good selection of meats cheeses and ceral, with particularly nice fresh bread. I didn't have an evening meal in the hostel, but from the bar, that too looked tasty. The Bar itself was small for the number of people accomodated at the hostel, but it was never too busy and reasonably priced.

Hostel itself was great; the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and exactly what we needed for our stay. However, the location was quite a distance away from where our events were, a nearer hostel would have been a little better. In saying that, the directions provided by Harry were spot on and meant that we never had any problems finding the place.

As far as hostels go the STAYOK in Zeeburg, Amsterdam was very good. Clean, simple, and exactly what you need simply a place to crash on a stag do etc.

hostel accommodation was clean & in a good place however the transfer from airport was a joke. the driver took us to the wrong hostel at first, then took 30mins to return to spoil the start of our weekend. he also engaged in an argument with the organiser.
