Overview

Place your bets at Hungary's oldest race track. Unlike British horse racing, the entire event is packed into a couple of hours, the price of beer and liquor is cheap, and you're likely to see gallop and carriage racing (although scheduling can change).

Very good event. Not too far to travel. Alcohol as cheap as in city bars. Good craic

Unfortunately it was a quiet day at the races, and there wasn’t too many folk there to create a good atmosphere. Could imagine on a busy day it would be really good!

Measuring 84 hectares, this expansive horseracing venue presents a selection of thoroughbred and harness racing. It has an on-site bar, restaurant, as well as several bookie stands. It's approximately 30 minutes' from the city, and easily accessible from the metro on the M2 line.
