This hotel 100% needs updating. Its very looking both inside and out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Never had food here as we used wetherspoons down the road. Room was satisfactory and clean most importantly. But Ideal for a quick 1 or 2 nights for a Stag/Hen party.

Reasonably priced and the staff were helpful and nice to talk to. Not a fan of a continental breakfast but there's a wetherspoons just down the hill that satisfy the need of a greasy breakfast after a long day/night drinking

It done its job as a place to rest your head after a stag night. Roof leaked in our room in the morning ( didn’t spoil the visit). This hotel definitely needs a lot of TLC. Staff were great.

Good little hostel, right in amongst it! It was a relief, after 7.5h roadtrip from down South, to be greeted with a bar and a smiling bar tender.

Perfect for a stag do if you’re only looking to use the facilities for a few hours. If you want something with modern amenities or more space, go elsewhere.

Run down and rough around the edges but served a purpose for a stag do

For a 2 star hotel the room was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. They helped with all our requests and even booked us taxis when needed. Much more than I expected.

Fine - excellent location, though a little 'tired' with crack in the sink. It was noisy with people coming back in overnight on the Saturday, so bring ear plugs!
