clean and tidy well enough for the boys

I gave it 5 stars because it does what it says on the tin, definitely budget, but you get the main things you need, had such a good night's few sleeps, the beds are comfy everything's what you'd expect. Short walk to St dews mall. Spar and coop right outside, staff very pleasant.

Simple and central. Rooms were not big, and if you like personal space or privacy from your room mates, there is none. But is a good base for the city centre. Breakfast was adequate, but only because I like my bacon and egg after a night out.

ok but was budget

Quite a basic hotel but okay facilities and clean. Some confusion over car parking, best to book it before you arrive and it costs roughly £20 for the weekend. When we arrived, there were spaces but we couldn't stay in the car park as the spaces were booked out later. We managed to park on a drive 5 minutes walk from the hotel which cost about the same. Unfortunately someone gave me the code to get into the car park so I could try and sort a parking space. Stayed in the carpark for 33 minutes while I was looking for an alternative parking space and received a £60 fine. Bit of a racket really, not impressed.The hotel was quiet as a whole but lots of stag and hens were staying and one night there was some noise at about 1.30am. Breakfast was cereals, toast, crossiants and pastries with cheese and a selection of meats. All in all it was a decent stay for the cost.

Comfy, clean, helpful staff. Breakfast could be better but it was okay.
