Overview

Get ready for an authentic taste of Scottish tradition with these thrilling Highland games! In your clans, you’ll compete in classic challenges like tossing the caber, hurling the wellies, the farmer’s dash, puttin’ the stane, tyre flip, the haggis malt challenge, weight o’er the bar, tossing the hammer, and tug o' war. The winning team will be rewarded with a well-deserved prize—a bottle of whisky or prosecco to toast their victory! Then, it’s time for the stag or hen and your merry band to channel your inner Robin Hood in an archery competition. Take aim and see who can perfect the art of splitting an arrow in two. May the best archer win!

Great banter, lovely staff who were all good craic. Bit of a trek out of the city (30 mins by taxi from the hostel). The games took a little over 2 hours and there were activities to suit all levels of skill and fitness. Definitely wear clothes you’re OK with getting dirty.
