I’m not a massive football fan but the majority of the group were so I went along, it was good to see a different side of the stadium.

The Venue

Civitas Metropolitan Stadium

This impressive stadium boosts a wave-like structure, fibreglass roof and capacity for around 68,000 fans. Alongside hosting spectacular football matches, when not in game season it hosts concerts for world-renown artists. The west facade is home to 'The Walk of Legends', where players of 100 club games and more are honoured. The southwest area has a red and white flag in honour of the club's fans, which makes for a great photo opportunity. It’s primarily located in Madrid’s northeast area, next to Adolfo Suarez Barajas Airport and IFEMA.
