In February 2025, Hootie the Owl from Hooters Nottingham took flight and ventured into the heart of the North East, landing in a vacant building at 18-20 Bigg Market in Newcastle. And just like that, Hooters Newcastle was born.
Hooters Newcastle is essentially twinned with the Hooters restaurants in Toronto, Canada, thanks to their Canadian franchise roots and partial ownership by the creator behind several well-known Canadian wing joints.
