Just what you need in Sofia to be fair - a good guide (Neli) a lot of laughs and a safe end to the night. Most bars allow you to smoke so it’s like going back in time - same with prices, Bulgaria is CHEAP.

Lots of cool bars that are not easy to see from street level. Guide was awesome and so were all but one of the bars. The bartender didn’t seem to like tourists in one of them.
