Overview

Take on fast-flowing rapids as you furiously paddle your way down the powerful river in your inflatable white water raft, carving your way through stunning natural scenery. It took a long time to get to the river and it was a very uncomfortable ride getting there as the taxi driver seemed to think he was on a rally tournament. The rafting was good fun and not too intense. The instructor was friendly and had lots to chat about. We set off at 10am and arrived at the river around 11.30 and arrived back at the hotel around 4pm so was a good day out. It would have been nice if there was a stop for some food and drink once we finished the rafting as it was a long time to go without food. The travel time was about 1.5 hours each way and we spent a good 2-3 hours on the boat, so everyone was pretty hungry once we finished. But on the plus side the taxi driver did stop at a shop along the way so it is definitly adviseable to pick up some snacks at that point as you don't get another chance until you are back in the hotel.

Really enjoyed it however after a night on the town on a stag I think you really need to say take lots of water which in the rush in the morning we forgot, and an old t shirt to wear.
