Best Bar Crawl in Prague

With plenty of bars to choose from, here is the best bar crawl Prague has to offer.

One of the most popular stag destinations in Europe is Prague, and with so many bars in such a compact city astag weekend in Pragueoffers plenty of opportunity for some serious drinking. However it can be hard to organise your own bar crawl, so we’ve done it for you and planned a crawl around some of the best pubs in Prague, with minimum walking required between venues.

The route begins at the Prague Beer Museum, a perfect spot to try out some new beers before they all the start tasting the same. Then, head just up the road to La Bodeguita del Medio - it may not be typically Czech, but it’s a great place to try out some new cocktails. Then, head to The Dubliners for some home away from home drinks before going to a classic Czech cellar bar. At the end of the night, head to Cafe Bambus (sometimes also known as Cafe Bamboo) for a lively end to your epic night.

Prague Beer Museum

With over 30 different Czech beers on tap at any given time, this relaxed pub is renowned for its massive list of locally-brewed beer. Located in the heart of the city centre, it's just 700 meters from The Old Town, next to Charles Bridge. Its relaxed decor makes for the perfect spot for enjoying a few beers and trying something new. They even offer a special beer tasting session, if you want to learn a little more about this Czech speciality.

La Bodeguita Del Medio Music Bar & Restaurant

Located just a few metres from Old Town Square, this South American cocktail bar has a huge variety of speciality whiskeys, rums and cocktails. It may not be classically Czech, but the Cuban-inspired interior creates a relaxed, stylish atmosphere and there’s live music aplenty. Upstairs, there’s a cigar shop selling cigars from around the world. Downstairs there’s a trendy restaurant and bar, and there’s even private event spaces where you can try your hand at rum tasting!

The Dubliner Irish Pub

This rowdy Irish bar is perfect for big groups who are searching for a home away from home. It’s just 100 meters away from Old Town and shows all of the major sporting action on its massive flat-screen TVs. There’s also a menu of Irish specialities and international cuisine, as well as loads of Irish whiskies and lagers.

Kozicka Bar

Kozika is a buzzing cellar bar that’s popular with locals, foreigners and students. It can be quite tricky to find - it has a small entrance that leads you down to the large stretch of bars. It’s well worth the effort though, with drinks offers, an electric atmosphere and dance music on offer too!

Cafe Bambus

This buzzing daytime hangout and electric nightspot serves tasty food and has a huge drinks menu. It gets pretty crowded during the evening, with locals, students and tourists all coming for the affordable drinks, great cocktails and lively atmosphere. It even has free WiFi, but we doubt you’ll be needing it here!
