Overview

With Moonshiners' Spiced Rum Academies, you get to play distiller for the day and make your very own batch of spiced rum perfect for your tastes. Over the course of a few hours, you’ll learn a lot about spirit making in a very hands-on way. You’ll be picking your rum's spices and botanicals from our wide selection based on your personal taste preference and doing your own distillation on your own ministill, collecting the best parts of the batch to take away with you. It’s not all work and no play, though - the experience is peppered with drinks throughout, made from our versions of the spirit you’re making on the day. Plus, we have an on-site bar for additional drinks as you desire.
